Florence Lights Up: the magic of the Holidays illuminates Florence with #EnjoyRespectFirenze
From December 7, 2024, to January 7, 2025, Florence Lights Up is an illuminated path that celebrates the city and the festive season, inviting both locals and visitors to enjoy a magical experience with respect and awareness.
Ponte Vecchio, one of the most iconic symbols of Florence, is transformed into a luminous canvas thanks to video-mapping, offering a completely original way of observing this historic site. Palazzo Vecchio and the church of San Paolino also feature artistic projections that share the themes and values of the #EnjoyRespectFirenze campaign, raising awareness around the protection of heritage and a more conscious way to visit the city.
In Piazza Santa Maria Novella, lights and installations create a charming atmosphere, while the Medici Garden of Palazzo Medici Riccardi comes to life with playful lights among the trees and statues. Here, you can also find a special Christmas tree, a symbol of the festive period.
